Main Door:   Analyze that there should be any obstruction inside and outside the main door of your house.Check if your main door makes a noise while opening and closing it, if it makes noise correct it. Keep control that no body should knock or strike your main door very early in the morning, if it happens it is not considered auspicous.

Earth:   Make sure you leave some part of your house earthern, do not cover with flooring. All the area covered in a plot with concrete creates vaastu defects. It gives an imbalance in planets.

Kitchen:   Make sure the water sinks is placed in north and Gas Stove is kept in east direction of the kitchen this means that water element should be placed to the left of the fire element. Check the utensils, cups & glasses in the kitchen all these should be kept upside down. Also check for the flower vases and decorative glass bowls they should not be kept empty. One can just fill them with pebbles, coins et. If utensils or pots are vaccent it always demands and gives rise to expenses.

Brooms:    Do not keep your brooms, mops and shoes under the staircase. Keeping dirty things under the stairs creats vaastu defects. Also donot keep the brooms, mops and shoes in the north, north east and east directions, these directions are very pious. Do not keep the brooms standing.

Wall Clocks:    Donot hang your wall clocks, time pieces and calender in the southern, southeastern and southwestern directions. It gives unfavourable time phase for your life. Also check that clocks and calenders should not be placed above the doors. All clocks placed in the house or office should be in working condition, if it is not in working conditions wrap them in paper or box and store them in cupboards.

Irregular shapes:    Vaastu recomends four corners in a plot, any building structure or a room. More than four corners create a vaastu defect. Plots with multi corners should be avoided, L shaped plots are a severe vaastu defect. Rooms with corners cut gives the effect of five or six corners but creates a vaastu defect. Architectural creations for beautifying the rooms with multicorners should be avoided. It hinders the proper distribution of energies. 

Magnetic Line:   This is a very sensitive issue to be discussed in vaastu. Magnetic energy line starts diagonly from the Northeastern corner of the plot and ends at the southwest corner. While you build the structure take care that the flow of this line should not be disturbed. YOu should not dig a pit or water tank, swerage tank on this line, if this is done the flow of the magnetic energy is disturbed. By half knowldge from vaastu books people place undergroud water tanks exactly in the north eastern corner which cuts the magnetic energy line. Disturbed energy line gives deppression and health problems in the family. Pillars and coloums erected on this line is also a vaastu defect this gives stomach problems. 

Overhead water tanks:    Over head wate tanks can be placed in the Southwestern and northwestern areas of the building. Tanks should not come over your bedroom or office areas. Try to place the overhead water tanks above the toilets and bathrooms.

Feet:   Donot ever touch the fire with your feet, Match sticks, ciggrates are part of fire do not turn them off with your feet. Donot open the door pushing with your feet. Rubbing your feets with one another brings bad luck. Donot sleep crossed legs.
