Shri Bhandari was a multifaceted personality. He was a leading chartered accountant of his time, much sought after by the corporate world for his mastery of Company Law, his books on which are still in demand. But in the late 1970s , he decided to devote the rest of his life to the promotion of the ancient Indian Sciences such as Yoga, Tantra, Ayurveda and Astrology. In 1980, he founded Bharat Nirman a not -for- profit trust and organised about 125 seminars and conferences culminating in Mystique India Exhibition in Delhi in collaboration with ITPO , from 1996 to 1999.

Mystic India is the monthly magazine in English and Hindi published in alternate months and circulated widely across the country and internationally. The magazine was founded by Late Shri M.C. Bhandari, a prominent Chartered Accountant ( Former President, Insititute of Chartered Accountants of India ) and author of several books including on company law procedure. During the last 20 years of his life, his foresight and interest to serve the society brought him into promotion of ancient sciences. Besides arranging more than 125 conferences to promote the ancient wisdom of India, he founded the magazine - MYSTIC INDIA - in 1995. It is being published successfully for the last one decade. MYSTIQUE INDIA Exhibitions on the same subjects was also organised in association with India Trade Promotion Organisation in 1996-1999. MYSTIC INDIA carries articles by renowned authors on spirituality, Yoga, Predictive Sciences, alternate therapies and other subjects related to Indian wisdom.
