","DetailedDescription":"After having studied at IIT Delhi (1976-81) and IIM Ahmedabad (1981-83), I worked for 16 years in senior positions with the leading companies like Indian Rayon, Reliance and American multinational DuPont. Since the year 1999, I am associated with the setting up and shaping up of a world-class educational complex, as a model of no compromise, in an out of the way place like Jodhpur in my home state of Rajasthan.

I have been the President of prestigious IIT Delhi Alumni Association - the apex body of over 20000 member alumni based worldwide. Earlier I have also been the Secretary of IIM Ahmedabad Alumni Association.

Though born and brought up in a small town of Abu Road in Rajasthan, in retrospect I feel that I was fortunate in having studied at IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad, both institutions of national importance in India. I had a dream and I thought it appropriate to work towards making the dream come true. I also sincerely believes that people who have done well in their career and life should go back to their roots at a suitable time to do some thing constructive and substantial for their home state. Having been away from his home state of Rajasthan for 24 years, I moved back to Rajasthan in April 2000 to establish, along with my team, the educational complex.

Aravali Institute of Management (AIM) has been the first such unique educational venture with a number of pioneering initiatives aimed at making it truly a top-ranking management institute, as a collaborative effort of a large number of individuals and organizations from all over India and abroad, including several IIMs & IITs alumni and faculty members.
