PGDHHM","DetailedDescription":"I, Dr Haresh G Thummar, born and grown up in rural area of saurashtra, Gujrat,India where, since my childhood I have seen so many patients suffering from kidney diseases and stones as this area is a stone belt region with very high incidence and prevalence with poor socioeconomic and less education and since then, my subconscious mind has decided to something for this group of patients suffering from kidney stones and to become a urologist and serve the society. Since then, I did not think of anything else than being a good urologist and perused further study.

I did my medical schooling from Baroda medical school S University with gold medal and best candidate award. As I wanted to be urologist, then I did my further training in urology at Institute of Kidney diseases and research center, Ahmedabad and then world famous Institute Muljibhai patel urological Hospital, Nadiad under Dr Mahesh Desaisir. Then I did my fellowships at PGIMER, Chandigarh,AIIMS,N Delhi etc to develop expertise. After that, I came back to my own native Saurashtra (stone belt region) and started to serve the people suffering from kidney stones to make my dream come true.

I like and love academics and research and that’s why I presented more than 50 papers in various zonal,national and international conferences and workshops including many world congress of endourology meetings( WCE04,WCE06,WCE09,WCE11 etc ) and AUA meetings and won prizes too.

I have also organized many conferences and workshops at Rajkot for urologists of state ,zonal and national level scientific meeting and participated actively.
