Description
Medicine is my vocation in life. I find specific reward with the treatment and care of patients in the acute care setting; an area of medicine that requires a team approach, sound communication and the ability to deal with multiple cultures, languages and treatment modalities simultaneously.

I began my medical journey by volunteering at a hospital in suburban Chicago, became an emergency medical technician in college, completed my undergraduate pre-medical coursework in the US while also studying to become a paramedic and started my Masters in Public Health (MPH). I worked as a paramedic at a Level One Trauma Center for 4 years. I then worked in Iraq as a paramedic, completed my MPH and started medical school in the Czech Republic and completed the six year program. I now work as a staff doctor in a level one trauma center in Ireland.
